👋 Hi, I‘m Manuel. Welcome to “Product Diaries”
Product Diaries is a working journal about what it actually takes to bring products to market.
I write about leading products from 0 to 1 and beyond, especially in environments where complexity, tradeoffs, and imperfect information are the norm. The focus is on real decisions, not theories.
Topics I write about include:
Making product decisions when there is no obvious right answer
Leading product, design, and engineering teams through ambiguity
Balancing innovation, cost, quality, and speed in physical products
Scaling product portfolios and knowing when to say no
The human side of product leadership, judgment, trust, and accountability
This is not a how-to guide or a collection of frameworks. It’s a record of how the work actually happens, drawn from lived experience building and leading product organizations.
I currently lead products at Grizzly Industrial, overseeing a large portfolio of machines and accessories across design, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and operations.
I write this primarily for product leaders, designers, and builders who care about doing the work well and thinking clearly under pressure.
Warmly,
Manuel Saez
